Well, while preparing to upload the picture to put in this post, my computer decided to give me a BSOD. I’m quite annoyed that my computer has a chronic habit of BSODing once every 5 times or so when I use the USB ports. Unfortunately for me, my computer has always had a habit of crashing often. However, a thing I find odd about my computer is that it never crashes when I’m taxing the hardware. (Though I did lose my encode of To Aru Kagaku no Railgun 17 due to this crash) For example, when I ran Crysis at high settings, taxing pretty much every component of my computer, or encoded videos, I didn’t experience any crashes. If anyone cares more about its chronic crashing, then I can post details.

Computer Specs:
Motherboard: abit IX38 QuadGT
CPU: Intel Quad Core Q6600
RAM: 4x Corsair DDR2-800 1 GB CAS5
Video Card: HIS Radeon HD 4850
HDD: 1x 500 GB Hitachi, 1x 400 GB Samsung, 1x 1 TB Seagate

Anyway, on to the picture!

Above is my/our/no one’s cat, Percy. During the middle of December, Percy decided to lounge on top of my apartment’s AC unit and one of my housemates let him in. Ever since, he has been a frequent visitor to our apartment. He usually just comes in and takes over our couch until he wants to leave. Occasionally, we will give him treats and play with him. Whenever I let him into my room, he usually runs around and then ends up on the sink counter. Today, he ended up in the sink, so I seized the moment and took a picture.

My first official blog post. I’ll usually blog about things that linger in my mind. I’m starting to blog because my new phone has a half-decent camera that’ll always be on me.

Today, I was in the laboratory watching petri dishes of water and  ethanol dry. My group and I took about 10 hours worth of data with multiple trials for some cases. Long days are long. I have not had much time to do anything else, like watch videos and anime, play games, sub anime, or anything fun in that sense. Performing this lab has reminded me of how much I disliked mass transfer. I spent the whole day along with my lab group weighing the mass of the petri dishes containing beads, ethanol, and water every 10-20 minutes. However, doing so reminded me of the complexity of something as simple as evaporation. I’ll leave it at that for the time being along with a picture.
